We offer tours in Venice that are also barrier free. These tours are designed in order to be also accessible to travellers with reduced mobility (for example in a wheelchair).

Futhermore, travellers having difficulties in crossing bridges or parents coming to Venice with an infant/toddler using a buggy could take advantage of our accessible tours as it facilitates moving around the city for them.

Our barrier free tours are either taking place on a single island without crossing a bridge at all or crossing from one island to the next by using ramps set on bridges (like in the picture).

Barrier free tour ticket

Please indicate during the booking process if you are a traveller with reduced mobility (choosing the barrier free ticket) and please make sure to have a travel companion/carer with you who can help you cross the ramps on the bridges or overcome uneven ground/pavement or little steps: For instance our Rialto tour brings us to a traditional Bacaro whose entrance has a little step/ramp to cross.

Furthermore, streets can get quite narrow so please let us know or contact us beforehand if your wheelchair has a width of more than 100 cm (39 inch).

In case you are not sure if our barrier free tour is made for you feel free to contact us by mail.
